Petzz Life story started before we thought such company could exist.

Like many expatriate women who move abroad to support their partners, I relocated to the Netherlands to follow my husband’s dreams. I arrived not only with luggage, but also with many uncertainties about what the future would hold.

After I arrived in Amsterdam, I discovered a city with full of opportunities and possibilities. However, restarting life in a new country proved to be a significant challenge. At the time, my English was limited. Suddenly, I found myself in an environment where learning English and eventually Dutch was essential for both personal and professional integration.

Adapting to a new culture, language, and way of life required resilience and determination. Gradually, as my English improved, I began building meaningful friendships and developing a support network. These connections helped me feel more confident and at home in Amsterdam. Over time, I started to see not only the challenges, but also the opportunities that this new chapter could offer.

At that stage, I was looking for a professional path that would allow me flexibility while I continued improving my language skills. I did not see myself working in retail or hospitality; instead, I wanted something aligned with my passions. A friend suggested pet sitting, knowing how much I loved animals. She became my first client and encouraged me to take the first step.

After a year of working through different platforms, I recognized the potential to elevate my services by sharing my daily routine and professional approach on social media. This transparency allowed clients to better understand my work and strengthened trust. In November 2021, I officially created Petzz Life.

Since then, Petzz Life has grown steadily, serving numerous clients across Amsterdam. What began as a personal initiative has evolved into a registered company with a strong reputation and ambitious plans for continued growth.

Looking back, it is remarkable to see how far this journey has come. I am proud of what I have built and grateful for the support of my family, friends, and clients. With each pet entrusted to my care, I continue to gain experience, refine my expertise, and strengthen my commitment to providing reliable, compassionate, and professional pet care services.
